Rural, privately owned properties, chosen as being in particularly attractive areas and within reach of attractions like historical towns and medieval villages. They sleep between two and 16 and almost all have either a private or shared pool.

Season

Year-round at around a quarter of properties which have central heating.

Facilities

Cots and high chairs are prebookable at around a third of properties (if the owners themselves had children they will probably have these). Free.

Extras

Maid service hours range from two hours a week to five days a week. Further hours available at around a quarter of properties if prebooked and paid for locally, or arranged on arrival. Cooks are available at around a third of properties offering traditional local dishes for an hourly rate including shopping. AAll properties offer some kind of food or meal on arrival. Around 10% can arrange for shopping and a meal to be prepared, payable locally.
