Where

Around 140 properties, mainly in central Tuscany, principally between south of Siena and Florence, plus some in the Maremma and Liguria, and a few in Umbria and Lazio.

Style

Some more elegant, others more rustic, (increasingly at the smarter end) most exclusive to the operator, all chosen for their position, character and charm, sleeping 2 to 22. Around 100 have pools, some shared, and a number have access for example to river swimming. Some are farmhouses or part of farmhouses. Horse riding is often available. A number of village houses are included to meet demand, and most are within easy reach of a bar or restaurant.

Season

Year-round, at around two thirds of properties, with heating available but generally costing extra.

Facilities

Cots are available in all properties, high chairs rather rarer.

Extras

Cooks and extra cleaning is reported often available. Around 25% of the properties (larger ones) offer maid service six days a week. Elsewhere extra cleaning may be possible.
