150-plus homes and holiday apartments all privately owned. Started in the early ‘90s to market a handful of properties owned by family and friends. All booking staff are either Italian or have spent significant periods of time in the country. Staff members have also visited all the properties themselves so can offer detailed advice on them.
Where
Tuscany plus Umbria, Lazio and a selection of coastal areas and small selection of apartments in Venice, Florence and Rome, and islands.
Style
Generally attractive, generally rural, renovated in style, many luxurious. Most sleep six-plus.
Season
May to October generally though around a third of properties are available year-round if heating is available (payable extra).
Facilities
Cots and high chars are usually free at around 90% of properties. Can arrange babysitting. A handful of houses have toys in situ.
Extras
Can arrange full staff, maids, shopping, private tours, chefs and drivers.
Sample Price
£1,300 upwards for a week in high season in a property sleeping four with access to a pool. Prices go up to £6,000 a week Flights and car rental can be arranged through partner companies.
