Offers around 50 properties, personally known, with detailed descriptions of accommodation and pointers on suitability. Will advise if the property is not child-friendly because for example of high steps (and run by a mother who therefore knows the issues). The operation reports a high level of repeat business.

Tuscany, Umbria, the Marches, plus Florence, Venice, Rome, and Siena.
Style
Handpicked properties, varying from grand and luxurious to simple rustic style (period farmhouses, villas, apartments and castles says the web site). All country properties have a swimming pool.
Particularly recommends Tenuta di Fiore with a villa or farmhouse apartments because with lots of space, boating lake, farm animals, wildlife, barbecue, children's games and fishing, plus swimming pool. Also Bevignano with child-friendly family apartments on a 100-acre estate with tennis court and swimming pool. Accommodation is flexible for small or larger parties. Villa Gemignana near is another property (16th century) with flexible accommodation and a pool.
Season
Most properties are available all year. Heating is available but will advise on whether this wil be sufficient in a particular property. Cost not included for out of season bookings.
Facilities
Most properties welcome children. Cots are found at most properties, generally free or where charged for, around £7 per week, and babysitting service available. Gas, water, electricity and linen included in the price. Central heating not included for out of season bookings. A number of properties have activities like table tennis etc and books.
Extras
Welcome packs are included in the price at most properties, unless the owners are English so unable to organise this in which case there will be a charge to cover a maid doing the shopping. Extra maid and cook service may be available on request. Most properties offer washing machines.
Sample Price
Two bedroom, property sleeping four for a week in high season, £790 accommodation only. No transport booking but offers advice.
