An intriguing selection of rental properties from castles to cottages from a business operating since the mid ‘80s.

No of Properties

Around 60.

Location

Across the Irish island with the largest concentration in the south and west.

Style

Elegant, some of them very much so, though some run to a playroom. Charm is considered an important ingredient. They are divided into Castles and Manor Houses, Period and Contemporary Houses, and Cottages and Apartments. Most are architecturally extremely striking, particularly their exteriors. The first two categories generally sleep at least eight, up to as many as 28. Cottages and apartments sleep generally only up to six. Descriptions are factual and booking staff can advise on suitable properties if you give the ages of your children. Every house is visited regularly by the inspection team.

Linen

Generally included in the price.

Heating

Cost included at around half the properties.

Facilities

Cots and high chairs available at the majority of properties, included in the price.

Extras

Most could arrange maid service, at some dinner could be arranged, or daily breakfast. Some properties include staff in the price. The company can arrange activities such as golf and even a teddy bears picnic for a family group of children. It can also organise self-drive, chauffeur driven cars and customised itineraries.

Short Breaks

Some of the larger properties offer breaks of two nights or more; some of the smaller properties offer three night minimum, during the shoulder/low season - between October and end April, ex Christmas, New Year and Easter.

Sample Price

A property sleeping four in two bedrooms might be Irish£500 per week (from Euro760) in peak season.
