Pretty, rural cottages, chosen and furnished with a view to letting, with modern beds but for example pieces of antique furniture to add atmosphere. Kitchen are reported extremely well equipped. Each house has been fitted to the highest tourist board specifications and include central heating, TV, video, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier, plus payphone. All are reported no more than a five-minute walk from pubs (child-friendly), shops and restaurants.

Can arrange babysitters, generally women in their 40s, charging around £5 per hour, less for longer periods.
Extras
Extra cleaning is available at £5 per hour. A welcome hamper includes items like farmhouse butter and organic eggs, plus local bread, as well as oil and vinegar, tea and coffee etc. Guests are supplied with a list of food and drink places and suppliers including some which offer ready prepared dishes.
