The Lake District.
Style
Well maintained, somewhat smarter than average. Most are in traditional properties, though furnished in fairly modern style. A couple sleep eight-plus and a number are neighbouring so could be used by two families.
Linen
All beds are made up and tea towels provided but not personal towels.
Heating
At most properties by meter reading, gas central heating charged for either daily or metered. Where there are open fires fuel is charged for on a daily basis. However, there are properties where heating costs are included.
Facilities
Cots and high chairs are available on request. Cot bedding is not supplied.
Extras
Electric blankets or hot water bottles are provided, plus books and games as well as a dishwasher and a microwave in most cottages as well.
Short Breaks
Available in winter.
