Where

A group combining Four Seasons Hotels and Regent International Hotels forming one of the world's largest global network of five-star hotel and resort properties with 55 hotels in 25 countries. The vast majority are in North America with some in Asia Pacific, a handful in Europe and the odd other for example in the Caribbean and Mexico.

Style

Emphasis is above all on service but the buildings themselves are pretty smart. That said, the group offers some of the best service of any hotel group and receives the highest ratings in magazine surveys and the like.

Child Facilities

Four Seasons take seriously the issue of keeping children entertained. Different hotels offer a range of options from milk and cookies on arrival to full activity programmes, generally for 5 to 12 year- olds but sometimes from 3 years.
The Kids for All Seasons programmes teaches local native crafts, local folklore and history and local cooking styles. There is also organised volleyball, the opportunity for tennis lessons, and exploration of marine life, seashore, shells and animal life.
In city hotels there are options from Tae Kwon Do and racquetball courses to cooking lessons. Single Parents weekends are also offered. A VCR and selection of current movies can be supplied by the concierge.
For babies there are cots (cribs), buggies (strollers), high chairs, playpens, bottle warmers, dummies (soothers), bibs and more. Babysitting can be arranged through the concierge with a bonded (registered) babysitting service and the concierge will have a list of nearby clothing and toy shops, amusement parks, children's museums and other child-oriented activities around town.
Four Seasons rooms may be child proofed with protective electrical covered outlets, wooden step stools for reaching the sink, and kitted out with child-size bathrobes and miniature
table and chairs. All hotels and resorts have children's menus.
Properties specifically welcoming children are the resorts in Ariara (Carlsbad), Bali, Dallas, Hualalai and Maui at Wailea on Hawaii, Nevis, Palm Beach, Santa Barbara, and among the cities, Atlanta, Austin, Berlin, Boston, Chicago and Ritz-Carlton Chicago, Houston, London, Beverly Hills, Milan, New York, Newport Beach, Philadelphia, Seattle, Singapore, Tokyo, Toronto, Vancouver and Washington DC.
