No, don't run their own childcare operation. Instead recommend the resort cr?ches. Opening times vary with the time of year and in La Thuile care for children 3-12 years is free.

Exclusive child ski lessons in English

Yes, at Interski's own Kids Ski School for children 7 to 15 years six days a week with five hours supervision daily with two sessions of two hours of skiing and an hour's lunch break. Cost is £90 for the week. Older children can use the normal Snowsport school costing £60 a week for two hours a day. Private lessons in skiing and snowboarding are also available for groups of up to 4.

Other

Snow.co delivers hired ski clothing to clients' accommodation in resort. Phoenix power jackets and kick pants are available free for children. Hire of children's Rossignol carvers is also free as are Rossignol boots and a child's helmet.

Adult guide price

A week travelling by air to the two-star Hotel Edelweiss in Courmayeur for the peak week in February is £739, to the four-star Grand Hotel Courmaison (with simming pool and miniclub) £869.
