A specialist in traditional style chalet accommodation including open fires, with four of them in the working Alpine village of Peisey Nancroix all with en suite accommodation, and including a new luxury one in Plan Peisey sleeping up to 18. The village which has a couple of bars and restaurants and ski hire shop, is close to Les Arcs with link to La Plagne due shortly. Self-catering chalets can be arranged on request.
They take great care over food and making the chalets feel as welcoming and homely as possible.

No-smoking chalets or rooms

All chalets are non-smoking though guests are welcome to smoke on balconies and elsewhere outside.

Location of Care

Private nannies look after children in the same chalet as they are staying. Creche care is in a building owned by Ski Hiver.

British-qualified staff

NNEB/CACHE or equivalent normally used.

Staff to child ratio

4-12 months, 1:2; 12-24 months, 1:3; 2-3 years, 1:4.

From six months.

Childcare

Recommends and books a service run by Safe Hands Nanny Services which runs in its own chalet 9am-5pm and includes mid-morning snack. Lunch and afternoon snack. Prices are £150 for five days, £180 for six days, £50 for a Saturday. Half days (9am-1pm or 1-5pm are £135 for six days. This includes collection from ski school and a meal if applicable.
Private nannies to care for up to three children cost £475 for six days.

Exclusive child ski lessons in English

No but will arrange lessons with local ski schools, particularly the new English ski school, though places here are limited.
