Six courtyard cottages, plus three others.

Style

Each has its own washer/dryer or there is access to a larger central dryer if required. All cottages also have video recorders and smoking is not permitted inside any of them. The courtyard cottages have free heating with storage heaters. The other three have oil-fired central heating and hot water is free. Electricity is payable by £1 coin meter except for one property where electricity is included. Logs are provided free for all cottages with wood burning stoves. Linen and tea towels are provided and bath towels are available on request. Since opening in 1993 the property has won 10 awards, the most prestigious the 1999 England for Excellence award for a self-catering holiday.

For Children

For the very young cots, highchairs and stairgates are all provided at no charge. We can also hire you a baby/toddler backpack during your stay. Most of the cottages are ground floor only so there may not be any stairs to worry about. There is a soft indoor play room for children 12 months to 7 years with vinyl covered foam padded floor and walls and soft building blocks. The outdoor adventure play area has been designed for children from 18 months to 18 years with swings slides rope net ladders bridges monkey bars etc. A games room has table tennis, snooker and table football. All the children's facilities are no more than two minutes walk from your cottage, but far enough away from the cottage gardens to preserve peace & tranquillity.
Daily animal feeding by hand for about 20 minutes every morning (pet goats and lambs) and collecting fresh eggs from the chickens. Also a quiet pony who gives children rides twice a week.
A babysitting service is provided.

Extras

There is an award winning farm trail and access to a trout fishing lake.

Sample Price

A two bedroomed property sleeping four might be £610 for the May Bank Holiday week.
