For over thirty years Exodus has arranged adventure holidays for those over the age of 16. In February 2005, it launched a family travel programme.

What and Where

There are three main types of family holiday on offer. You can stay in family activity centres in Sweden, Finland, Spain, Turkey, Slovenia and Egypt; activities range from dog-sledding in Finland to horse-riding in the USA. There are group holidays for families where up to 16 people, all with children, will travel together. Examples of group family holidays include the twelve-night Land of the Pharaohs trip, the fourteen-night Canyons and Cowboys holiday in the USA or an eleven-night Taj, Temples and Tigers trip in India. Accommodation is usually in hotels with swimming pools. Exodus also arranges bespoke family trips (ie you travel on your own as a family rather than as a group of families).

Minimum Age

5- 6 years for most adventures.

Sample Price

A stay in an activity centre will cost around £595 per adult per week and between £100 to £300 less for children under 12, all-inclusive. The eleven-day Taj, Temples and Tigers trip costs around £1,255 for an adult and £1,045 for a child under 12, all-inclusive.
