Style

Daily suggested ride is about 10-20 miles but you are given alternatives and are happy to alter outline itineraries. Information about the area and events, detailed route guides and maps, luggage transport plus an emergency back-up service are all provided. Go at your own speed family tours almost all follow river valleys and show you how to avoid hills. Provides all customers with a food guide to the area with listings of teashops, restaurants and pubs graded by customers. A range of Family Farmhouse Tours are recommended for younger families ? but are also popular with adults who want a very easy cycle tour. These are tours with rides of 10-16 miles a day for those with younger children, leaving plenty of time for swimming, picnics, and castle visits. They can also be combined with other activities such as canoeing or wildlife safaris. Safe parking is available at the farm during your tour.

Accommodation

On a b&b basis - you can chose to stay in either guesthouses/farmhouses or hotels/inns. The accommodation is carefully chosen and monitored to make sure it maintains high standards. Most are historic houses ? from manor houses to riverside inns ? with welcoming hosts. All rooms are en-suite or have private bathrooms. Evening meals are available at all farmhouse accommodation and in hotels.

Bikes

18-21-geared hybrid or mountain bikes with panniers, lock, helmet and toolkit. There are also children's mountain bikes for 7/8 years-plus, child seats, a wide range of trailers or trailer bikes (tag-alongs) for the under 7s, or buggies for children 6 months to four years. Tandems also available.

The Family Farmhouse three-day tour with two nights' b&b accommodation costs £180 per adult, £118 per child. A week long Shropshire Castles Tour costs £395 per adult, £275 per child. Under 3s 50% of child price.
