Style
Around 50, similar to Caribbean luxury villas, all bar two properties with a pool, chosen for location and back-up offered by staff or owners on site - each property having an English-speaking representative. Options range from a Tuscan manor house, a villa at Cannes overlooking the sea, to an Alpine ski chalet or villa close to a Spanish or Portuguese golf course. Linen is extra at some properties.
Season
Year-round. Heating is generally not included (neither is electricity in some cases).
Facilities
Cots and high chairs would generally have to be hired. Babysitting is available by arrangement at most properties.
Extras
Domestic help available by arrangement six days a week at most properties. A cook could be arranged either to live-in or for one-off meals.
Sample Price
A property for a week in high season averages £4-£5,000, depending largely on the country.
