NOTE We believe that the following is correct but the operator has not felt able to check it.

A company which has been offering Santa trips to Lapland since 1994. Departures are from 21 UK regional airports with trips of one day up to five days with either a pre-arranged programme or tailormade, with options like skiing, snowboards and sledges, snowmobile rides, reindeer sleigh rids, dog sledging, traditional folk ceremonies and saunas. The company has an office in Santa's Village to provide any support required.
Destinations include Rovaniemi on the Arctic Circle and close to Santa's Village, the Arctic ski centre of Pyham, Levi, known as a winter playground where a Snow Fun package is set up, and Ivalo, the northernmost destination set in Arctic wilderness.
Santa Village Day Breaks include an Arctic Circle Crossing certificate and Lapland passport, a small token Lappish gift for all under 12s, a visit to Santa in his village. In addition options like a snowmobile safari can be added at £35 per adult, £18 per child.
A Fantasia and Adventure Day also includes a search for Father Christmas, a letter to Santa, reindeer and husky dog sleigh rides, Lapland ceremony and snowmobile ride, and a Lappish meal and thermal.
Longer breaks of up to four nights are also available such as the Lappish Adventure to Levi, considered most suitable for families with older children and activities like a reindeer sleigh and snowmobile ride, skiing, ice driving and horse riding.
Overnight accommodation could be in an Igloo Village, though temperatures at night range from -3ºc to -6ºc, so with children log cabins or a spa hotel might be more suitable, all accommodation options being three-star or three-star plus.
On all trips except the Santa' village day trip the price includes rental of an all-in-one thermal suit on arrival though warm hat, scarf, gloves and boots will need to be brought from home.
An extra for children is a letter forwarding service for children under 12 to Father Christmas. Those send to the Oxford offices will be forwarded to Lapland so that Santa can talk about the contents on arrival.

Sample Price

Santa Village day breaks start from £199 per person, or on the Lappish adventure for three nights from £709 per person. There are discounts of £25 per child.
