Holidays by Destination Europe Spain Mallorca When to Go

Mallorca reaches averages of 29oC and 11 hours of sun a day in July and August. April and May are pleasant, averaging around 20oC, October slightly warmer. December and January seldom drop below 6oC and may rise to the 20s. However, winter does usually involve some rain.

With children it is worth bearing in mind that the north coast is the windiest, exposed as it is to the winds from the south of France which can make the sea dangerous at times. It is also therefore less suitable off season than the much more protected, but more developed, southern coast.
