A rail line runs from Lagos to the Spanish border calling at major towns, with bus links to resorts. However, getting from resort to resort is not particularly easy by public transport.

Car hire is usually vital for shopping if staying at a villa. Note however that going much further can be hard work in the heat, particularly as local driving is notably bad.
