Holidays by Destination Africa Egypt Cairo and Sharm el Sheikh Attitude to Children

Very tolerant.

Play Areas

There are very few open spaces in Cairo that you would want to take kids to, as they are dirty and as a result, many hotels now offer club membership for families to take advantage of swimming pools and gardens.

Breastfeeding

Do discreetly, no-one seems to mind.

Babysitting

Most major hotels offer their maids for babysitting.

Baby Stuff

Some nappies are available, but for ease try and bring what you are going to need if you can.

Buggies

Bring all terrain buggies as the pavements are very poor with chunks of concrete missing, pot holes and generally very difficult for pushing anything with wheels.
