Organises full board homestays with a language teacher, providing total immersion plus tailored one to one lessons. The local organiser at each centre is available for queries on the spot and will organise to meet arrivals and escort them to their homestay. Although more expensive than a school, the idea is that the service is more useful. The organises emphasises that because of the personal care, the option is especially suitable for younger students. Family groups can also be accepted, as can two students at the same time, although if they are friends/speak the same language, they will probably learn less from the experience. The focus is above all on improving oral ability while paying an active part in family life. For those with very small children a child-minding service is usually available.

How Organised

One to one tuition is provided for generally around three but potentially up to five hours a day. The course is flexible as the student progresses and is reported to benefit from there being non of the inhibitions of a group situation. This will cover anything specific required such as for example preparation of presentations for AS levels. Additional activities for a further cost can be arranged such as skiing in the south of France and Austria, tennis, painting/art, tennis, sailing, cookery and more. These and the costs of outings are an extra expense.
