A collection of 14 country house hotels created in 2000, named AA group fo the year 2004-5. Created by a former City lawyer who tries to encourage guests to relax and indulge, not worry about behaving sensibly.

Wales, Scotland and England, five of the 14 in the southeast.
Style
Country houses originally built for pleasure, with more than £30 million spent on refurbishment projects. In addition there is a focus on quality of service and food. Four of the hotels are rated among the AA's top 200 hotels in the country. D?cor, produced by an international designer of luxury homes, uses silks, leather and bright colours, while hotels combine technology like a 42 inch plasma screen TVs and DVD players in the bedrooms, with 18th and 19th century pieces of art. Four of the properties have a pool.
Facilities
Children to 10 years receive a kids pack. A video player and your choice of video is places in the room, and there are free in-room children's meals.
Price
Dinner b&b at Nutfield Priory in winter £110 per person sharing a standard room, £70 extra in a junior suite, £130 in a master suite.
Child Prices
£60 per room, based on up to two children sharing their parents' room, or £90 per room, based on up to two children sharing their own room.
