Where
Walking holidays including the Wainwright Coast to Coast (15 nights), the Cleveland Way, the Cumbria Way and the Dales Way. There is also a circular walk starting and ending in Ilkley. Also offers walking and cycling holidays in Spain, France, Italy, Switzerland, Austria and Madeira.
Style
Mainly self-guided walks so can take at own pace. Books accommodation and provide routes, maps and back-up if can't walk for any reason. Luggage transport is included in the price.
Minimum Age
Don't turn anyone away because people are self-selecting and most families are with children of 12+.
Accommodation
Either b&b or small hotels. Where abroad all two or three-star hotels. Walking in England is all b&b in the standard price but if wanted somewhere more expensive could organise that.
Length of Trips
Nearly all the trips are seven nights and average daily distances are eight to 10 miles.
Sample Price
Seven nights' walking holiday in England per person b&b accommodation £350, a 25% discount for children sharing with parents or if two children share a twin room.
