Depending on the trip and levels of experience, usually 14+ as generally trips require certain skills and stamina. Would be more doubtful about younger children because of the social aspects of the holidays.

Varies from trip to trip but usually camping while out in the hills. In towns use medium range hotels, avoiding tourist places. In Nepal use lodges and in Iceland guesthouses, farmhouses and school houses.
Length of Trips
From eight days in Slovakia, 10 to, say, 14 days in Iceland, and 29 days in Pakistan. Average 18 days.
Sample Price
Around £750 for eight days in Slovakia, to ?3,000 for 24 days in Ecuador including the Galpagos Islands.
