A company which has been organising self-drive breaks for classic car owners for 10 years and is now organising cycling breaks for those with a car and bicycle rack to transport their own on a similar self-drive basis.

Style

Organised breaks averaging three nights including Saturday and Sunday, to destinations with networks of purpose-built cycle tracks covering a variety of terrain but generally quite level so suitable for children, allowing cyclists to cover up to 20 miles a day. Each tour is with a group who meet for an evening meal, but during the day cyclists are free to go at their own pace, stop for refreshment breaks or explore when they wish.

Accommodation

Traditional hotels of around two to three stars, including breakfast. All rooms are en-suite.

Age accepted

Whatever ages you choose given that you will need to provide the appropriate cycles/seats/trailers. However, particularly in view of the evening group meal you might like to pick a trip on which there is at least one other family.

You take your own bikes.

Trip to Cypres in Belgium during high season costs £149 per person including car ferry, en suite hotel room, Continental breakfast and dinner the first evening. One child sharing with two adults is charged at half price and two requiring their own room at the price of one adult.
