Typhoid and polio vaccinations are recommended though Best of Morocco notes that typhoid and polio, as Hepatitis A, are extremely rare.

Bottled or boiled water is recommended. A water filter might be useful. (See Suppliers).

A bottle of Milton might also prove useful for reliable sterilisation of small children's items. Note that the top leaks if not upright once opened.

Rabies is present. There is bilharzia in fresh water in the south so swimming and paddling is not advisable except in treated pools.

Pharmacists are well trained and can dispense medicines only available on prescription in the UK. However, insurance is important.
