Holidays by Destination Europe Czech Republic Getting There

Flight is probably the easiest route, with cheaper deals possibly available through Go, though it is worth double-checking with the scheduled operators BA and Czech Airlines (CSA) which sometimes undercut the budget brands.

Train is an option, allowing you to re-live the old-fashioned sense of travelling across the Continent to Eastern Europe. However, it takes 19 hours so is probably not ideal with children.

On the other hand at least one tour operator reports that it finds that families prefer to drive and that it should take no more than 16 or 17 hours with two drivers if you don't fit in an overnight en route.
