In the southern half of the state winter is high season (700F in February, low humidity). In summer it is humid with regular rainstorms, and averages of 840F in August. In the north high season is summer but it is nearly as humid as the south and averages 820F. Orlando in February averages a comfortable 630F. Hurricanes are August/September.
In the theme parks quietest times are January to mid February and mid-September to mid-December, bar Thanksgiving at the end of November. Parks are also reasonably quiet for a month to six weeks after Easter. June to September mosquitoes are a real problem, especially by fresh water. The Gulf of Mexico offers average water temperature of 770F. The Atlantic side is cooler.
