Holidays by Destination Europe France Roussillon Getting Around

There is public transport up the Tet valley right up to and around the Cerdagne, with the attractive Train Jaune which offers a spectacular journey up/down, meriting a trip in its own right.

With the rail route into Spain it wouldn't be too difficult to get along the coast either. However, suitable accommodation for families tends to be outside the centres so using public transport would restrict your choice.

Main roads inland and along the coast can get busy but the busiest of all is the the motorway leading into Spain which comes to a standstill at peak holiday times.
