Food sees a Spanish influence with the best cured meats for example those from Spain. The best places to buy local produce is at small shops for tourists, for example below the priory of Serrabonne, or at the summer farmers' markets. Look out for the tourist office Jours de Marches list for details.

Out of town supermarkets are good for basics and additive free jars and tins of cassoulet etc. Fresh milk, little used locally, is in short supply.
