Children of all ages are accepted at Jack's Camp and San Camp, where they can use the quad bikes used to explore the hinterland of the Makgadikgadi Pans. They also generally enjoy the company of the Bushmen trackers and young Biologist Guides who are all reported to enjoy spending time with children.
A separate option is a mobile safari expedition visiting the Okavango Delta, the Moremi, the Central Kalahari and to remote Bushmen settlements in the Western Kalahari. These are also reported perfect for family groups. A mobile offers more privacy and freedom to families and moving around together allows the guide to build relationships with the children and tailor-make the activities to ensure their attention is kept all times. ‘Parents can also relax without worrying about the effect their little darlings might be having on some beleaguered geriatric American Billionaire!'
