A resort in central Kerala, of 7 acres right beside a long, sandy beach, with accommodation in six cottages with 13 double bedroom and en suite baths, made with locally available materials and built in traditional style so naturally cool - and eco-friendly and food served is all traditional Keralan. Local attractions range from bullock cart riding, to spending a day with elephants, and exploring the green of the paddy fields. The resort offers Ayurvedic treatments by experts, both for specific ailments and as a ‘rejuvenating and purifying therapy' usuing traditional natural and herbal remedies, designed to strengthen immunity. Treatment lasts around two and a half hours each day and including yoga and meditation sessions.

For Families

Happy to welcome families, for children the main attraction being the long, sandy beach, but the resort can also arrange local sight-seeing trips for example by a local country boat, a visit to an elephant camp, or a visit to Cochin. Recommendr accommodation is in two rooms in one cottage.

Sample Price

A double plus all three meals, tea, coffee, snacks, fruit, bottled water, beach service etc, is from €44 for a double, to €150 in high season. Ayurvedic treatment is €520 per person for 14 days or there are cheaper options such as a body massage at €10 per treatment and €10 per yoga class. Children under 6 years stay free if sharing with parents, over 6 years they can also stay with parents in their own bed (extra charge). Above 12 years a separate room is advised.
