Offers a family hawk walk of one or two hours out on to the moor with the falconer, flying the hawk for themselves and the falconer giving some tuition. Often there are sightings of other wild birds of prey, foxes, badgers and deer. Alternatively there are falconry experience days with pointers on and experience of handling and holding of different owls, hawks and falcons, plus taking the birds out on to Exmoor. Groups are of just two to four people.
Can also offer escorted riding, providing horses for adults and getting suitable mounts for children from the local trekking centre. The advantage is that the group is much smaller than usual.

Sample Price

Hawk walks cost £40 for adults and £25 for children, lunch extra. The full day experience is £85 for adults and £55 for children including a meal. Overnight accommodation in the Porlock Vale 15th century National Trust farmhouse where the centre is based is £22.50 for adults and £17.50 for children under 12.
