Under 18s are welcomed on summer holiday cruises categoried as Young Travellers' Cruises, generally Mediterranean options. There are the usual talks - on anything from the way in which the Mediterranean and Adriatic seas have shaped Italian history and identity, to marine life in the Mediterranean and the importance of shark and turtle conservation. There are also activities like jigsaws in the library, and included in the activities is a chance to snorkel at all ports. ‘Please note however that we do not have facilities or activities on board to cater for young travellers' says the brochure. ‘However, we do hope that they will enjoy the relaxing time spent on board and the thrill of exploring new places while ashore.'
