Run by the local County Council, based around the 16th century Calshot Castle by the Solent, offering breaks for both children and adults as well as catering to school groups throughout the year. Welcomes prior visits by parents.

Staff Checks and Qualifications

On an old flying boat base (17 acres) with accommodation and three large hangars plus Solent waters.

Full-time.

Activities

Pure dinghy sailing courses for beginners and improvers. Watersports adventure holidays include canoeing, sailing and windsurfing. Also offers multi-activity options including skiing, rock climbing, abseiling, archery, orienteering, problem solving, and for older children can do track cycling and mountain biking.

On Site Facilities

Three creeks for beginners, indoor climbing complex, three indoor ski slopes, indoor cycling track, two indoor archery ranges, air rifle range, initiative course, on sit orienteering.

Specialist Courses

Water-based with sailing, canoeing and windsurfing.

Food

Canteen style, three hot meals a day.
