Staff checks and Qualifications

Police checks, and qualifications from the national governing bodies of any activity taught. Where no governing body, eg for assault course, AALA-approved in-house training scheme. All staff first aid qualified and night staff trained in pastoral care.

Size of Centre

In Shropshire purpose-built, based round an old manor house in 100 acres. Accommodation in dormitories with group monitors or en suite family lodges.

Supervision

Full-time (unless with family).

Activities

Archery, pottery, computing, tag rugby, football, face painting, climbing, canoeing, abseiling, caving and survival skills.

On Site Facilities

Including arts and crafts, and kite-flying for the youngest, and abseiling and assault courses for teenagers.

Offsite Activities

Walking, golf and canoeing.

Specialist courses

Tennis and horse riding.

Standard canteen fare.

No transport.
