Specialist only to the Costa del Sol which reports attracts 50% of the golf holiday business in Europe with places like Valderama and San Roque Club. Part of Flight Options which specialises in sports travel.
Recommendations
Not particularly set up for families, although do take some, including with children who are already playing. Most hotels offered would be able to provide a babysitter service but not many run children's clubs ‘because none are package holiday style'. Standards range from 3-star Pyr aparthotels up to 5-stars. The one exception is the Four Seasons Country Club Aartments in Marbella which has good family facilities, including children's clubs in high season. If the children play most clubs in the area will require a handicap certificate. However, most clubs offer tuition and practice facilities, for example on a package at the Hotel La Duquesa where run tuition holidays and the hotel's own course. Children could be left with the professional teaching staff while they play a game.
Sample Price
A week in August at the Four Seasons would be around £850 with golf for an adult with flight and car hire. Children would be around 30-40% less.
