Reckon hard pressed to bed Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Because it is set up for family golf with most courses set up with children's tees as well as men's and women's tees so families can play together. There are good, shallow beaches, lots of entertainment, shopping and a complete range of facilities for the whole family. Most of the large hotels have a kids programme. In addition close by are Savannah and Charleston, two of the most historic towns in the US so there's a good range of outing options. Also good range of waer sports, nature tours, parasailing etc. There are direct flights with Delta to Atlanta. Could also do Florida which is also good but have never had a client going to Hilton Head who has said anything other than that they want to go again, especially if wanting to play golf.

At the Hilton had Marriott Beach and Golf Resort, Jan to March from £639 per person for an adult including flights, car hire and accommodation for seven nights. Children 2-12 £188. High season mid June to beginning of September around £850 to £900.
