In the southwest of Scotland with views of Arran and Mull of Kintyre, home of the first European golf academy to be set up by Colin Montgomerie and Starwood, with two championship courses and a nine-hold academy course. As the only hotel in the UK which owns an open championship course it can guarantee start times for all hotel guests.
The world's first links academy includes teaching areas, 16 covered bays and a short game area. Prices range from £20 for a single lesson to £235 for a full programme of lessons. Other activity options include fishing quad biking, target shooting, archery and falconry.
For Children During the school holidays there are children's programmes with for example treasure hunts, pizza making, bouncy castle etc and remote-controlled cars. Cots , high chairs and children's meals are all available. Babysitting can be arranged on request. Children can also make use of the horse-riding facilities. Accommodation options include cottages and lodges including a small kitchen area though there is also room and hotel service and a shuttle bus connection to the main hotel, or there are inter-connecting rooms in the main hotel.

Sample Price

A room suitable for two adults and two children from 1 May from £375 per room per night b&b. Under 14s can share with parents for £20 per child, meals extra, or under 16s can have an additional room at a discount of 50%. Cottages are from £355 per cottage. Green fees and beauty treatments are extra.
