Part of the same group as Wildlife Worldwide but focusing on bird-watching and botanical tours guided by naturalists, so only suitable for older or more interested children. However, there is a new selection of seven holidays specifically designed for families.

Recommendations

A three day Orca (killer whale) watching in Norway's Tysfjord.
Four days watching brown bears in the taiga forest on the Finnish/Russian border, staying in a wilderness centre in a log cabin designed as a bear hide. A fortnightly tour of Malawi's wetland wildlife at Lake Malawi and Zambia's big game in South Luangra National Park, staying in luxury lodges and a bush camp. The nine-day ‘Spices and Elephants' tour in Kerala, visits the Periya National Park and the Kodanadu Elephant camp, with the choice of adding an extra four days staying at Marori Beach. Also feels the majority of European holidays and traditional African safaris would be suitable for most children interested in nature.

Sample Price

Norway trip £1,095 per person, India £1,350 or £1,745 with extended stay, and Finland is £850 per person.
