Practicalities Getting Organised Safety Help in a Crisis

One of the best arguments for buying a decent guide is that it will provide information on local emergency numbers and how to find English speaking medical services.

Failing this it is worth remembering that there is now a pan-European emergency services access number. This is 112 and when you dial you will be routed to the local country's emergency services central answering point.

In north America the number to dial is 911

In the US try the

National Resource Center on Health and Safety in Child Care http://nrc.uchsc.edu.
