Holidays by Destination Europe Denmark Copenhagen

Report Date - Summer 1998

Copenhagen manages to combine the attractions and activities expected of a capital, with gentler qualities - safety, green spaces, residential buildings, and a lack of pretension and relaxed approach to life. (That includes service so allow time eg for meals.) Making life easy, English is an unofficial second language.

Although there is enough in Copenhagen to keep visitors happy for more than a long weekend, you might like to combine a visit with seeing some of the surrounding country. This being half the size of Scotland is relatively easy to get around.
