One of the best hotels for children in Ireland is Kelly's Resort Hotel in Rosslare, County Wexford in the extreme south-east, not far from the
ferry-crossing port of Rosslare.

It is a wonderful large family-run hotel, 4 star level, suitable for all types of guests covering bothdiscerning clients without children and couples with children. It has several restaurants and bars and a large indoor swimming pool and health/spa area. It is situated right on the huge long sandy beach of Rosslare strand.

There is a nice creche with lots of childrens toys etc and an outdoor sandy area right beside it with slides etc(protected from the beach so the toddlers cannot escape). Children can have their meals at childrens times in a separate
dining-room. Guests stay on half-board or full-board basis and the food is excellent with an extensive wine cellar. They get their wine imported especially for the hotel from select vineyards in France.

The resort often offers weekly seminars such as Gardening, Golf, Painting and invites well-known experts in their field to give talks and workshops.

It is known far and wide as an excellent quality family destination. If you get a sunny week there is nowhere to beat it. I would thoroughly recommend it.
