Holidays by Destination Europe France The Jura Getting There

Driving from Calais the motorways (the A26 to Troyes and then across to join the A31 south to Dijon) are much less crowded than those running from Paris south, and avoid the troubles of the Paris ring roads.

If you are happy to hire a car options include rail and drive - the French rail route now becoming increasingly accessible via the Channel Tunnel and changes at Lille, either to a larger centre like Dijon and car hire, or there is a TGV station at Mouchard, two hours from Paris. Alternatively there are flights to Dijon with Buzz, or for the south of the area, to Geneva with Easyjet.
