Holidays by Destination Europe France Disneyland Paris Getting There

From Waterloo or Ashford in Kent Eurostar direct is the easiest method (0870) 6000 782, eurostar, arrivals greeted by Disney characters on the station and possibily even a jazz trio. The station at arrival is at the gates of the park itself. On board children are given bags with colouring books, crayons and stickers. Services are out from Waterloo at 9.27am, back 7.35pm from Disneyland. This option enables you to lunch on the train and then fit in as many rides as you can on the Friday when queues are shorter, leaving your luggage in storage before you check in to the hotel. There are also weekday services for example during school holidays and half terms.

An alternative is to change trains in Lille to a TGV to the gate of the park. Waiting time at Lille is generally half an hour.

Eurostar to Paris is less convenient, involving a hike at Gare du Nord to the RER, and a complex switch at Chatelet les Halles.

Shuttles connect the park to Paris airport if it is more convenient to fly. Alternatively you can travel by coach, probably not ideal with children, or drive yourself.

Note that although you are not allowed to check into your room until 4pm, there are lockers just inside the park to leave luggage, or by dedicated train you can send pre-tagged luggage direct to Disney hotels and check in later. Under the same system you can send your luggage to await you at the station on departure.
