The company tries to ensure that all booking staff know the different sites so can discuss them with potential clients.

Type of Sites

Three and four-star, chosen for amenities (swimming pools, good disabled facilities, washing and drying machines and ironing facilities for small charge) plus individuality and charm.

Accommodation

300sq ft tents, with three bedrooms to sleep six, with wardrobe, curtained windows, insect-proof ventilation, and tent side which can be rolled up for extra ventilation. Also full size fridge, cooker with grill and outside furniture including sun beds and barbecue (where permitted).
Mobile homes date back no more than three years and are chalet style, double glazed with pitched tile roofs and sleep between six and eight.

Kids Clubs

Sandpiper children's club operates at four sites in Western France, three or four times a week for 4-13 years, with competitions, games, face painting, treasure hunts etc, depending on the age and interest of the children.

Usually young, UK-trained, fluent in French, resident on site and acting as both children's and general reps.

Extra for Kids

Baby packs (cot, high chair and baby bath) £2.50 per night. Cot only £1 per night.
Junior tents £2.50 per night. Couriers babysit at around €5 per hour.

Other Activities

Vary from site to site and include discos, tennis, football, volleyball, fishing, bike hire.

High season or a party of five including a short sea ferry crossing, 12 nights in a tent £840, extra nights £44, in a chalet £1,165. Can also arrange alternative ferry crossings, including Irish Sea crossings.
