An organisation in existence since the mid ‘60s, operating its own schools. It offers the benefit of dealing directing with the organisation which is looking after and teaching your offspring. Students tend to be of multiple nationalities, making it slightly more likely that they won't talk too much of their own language.

Most schools are also equipped with audio and video language labs plus computers with EF's own CD-ROM lessons. Also gap years courses of nine months devoted to just one language or a combination of two or three. Other ActivitiesEmploys full-time activity organisers in all schools to ensure students always have something to do whether sports, culture or simply social. These organisers also help with queries and setting up special request outings. AccommodationHost family accommodation (personally checked) or student residences are offered, and a programme of optional activities and excursions. Sample PriceThe most popular school is reported to be in Nice (because of the weather) where a course with 15 hours of tuition would be £670 and with 20 hours £760 including half board. |
