A particularly well run operation, which for example arranges for every visitor to be met but with an owner or housekeeper available weekly or available by phone for emergencies. Booking ahead is reported essential for Bath.

No of Properties

20-plus.

Location

The Bath and Wells areas. Bath is particularly recommended for families with teenagers because it is small enough to walk around, and the town boasts a huge children's play park which attracts families from miles around, in the corner of Victoria park.

Style

Some are more stylish than others but all are in good order and some particularly elegant. The agency takes children at around a quarter of the properties, only two taking babies.

Linen

Included in the price, along with towels and tea towels.

Heating

Included in the price.

Facilities

Where a cot is available it is charged at £20 per week.

Extras

If you particularly want maid service this can usually be arranged as can babysitter.
Rather than arrange catering the agency recommends M&S or Waitrose (both in the city centre) the first happy to deliver larger orders. All properties include local shopping and travel advice. Private car transport to Bath can be arranged.

Short Breaks

None available.

Sample Price

For a property which takes children around £500 for the May Bank holiday week in a Georgian maisonette.
