StyleFurnishings are often antique and in excellent taste, without anything superfluous (Spartan elegance is one judgement). Kitchens are modern, in larger Landmarks usually with a dishwasher and freezer. TVs are not installed but books relevant to the property's history and jigsaws are provided. Well behaved children are always welcome but open stairs, water etc might make some properties unsuitable. Staff are helpful in locating an appropriate one for your needs. LinenIncluded, including towels and tea towels.
HeatingIncluded but not fuel for open fires. FacilitiesCots are available at around 80% of properties. No high chairs. ExtraThe log books, generally written up with enthusiasm, confirm the existence of a community of committed visitors who pass tips to each other with enthusiasm. A file covering the history and restoration of each property offers a further and fascinating insight into each property. The selection of books (see above) is paarticularly good. Short BreaksThree or four nights are bookable all year except high summer, Christmas and New Year and bank holiday weekends.
