Devon, with a particularly wide choice in the picturesque South Hams region around Salcombe and Dartmouth, and on Exmoor in Somerset.

A predominance of renovated older buildings, some now small holiday centres with central pool, gym etc, plus some 20th century houses and apartments.

Linen

To be paid for separately either to the owner or through Toad Hall Cottages at around £7 per person per week. Not usually tea towels.

Heating

Payable extra except in around a quarter of properties.

Facilities

Cots, cot matresses, high chairs can normally be provided by prior arrangement, but not cot linen. Around 10% of properties can provided babysitting.

Extras

Occasionally can arrange catering and could probably arrange maid service.
