Style

Mostly rural, plus some waterfront options in more developed areas. Star ratings range from two and a half up to five though the five-star includes some which look distinctly old-fashioned. However, they may include facilities like a washing machine, dishwasher, or microwave.

Linen

Sheets and linen are included at around 10% of properties or generally available otherwise for hire at £4 per person.

Heating

Around a quarter of properties have central heating but alternative heating is generally available. In the low season sometimes there is an obligatory heating supplement to be paid. Electricity is always charged extra, payable to the owners.

Facilities

Cots and high chairs available free at around 40% of properties for under twos. No bedding is provided.

Extras

At around 10% of properties groceries may be ordered in advance. Around half the properties will take pets.

Short Breaks

Available low season and occasionally for late availability bookings.
