Style

Widely different including villas, farm houses, apartments, chateaux, chalets, mobile homes, cottages, studios and houseboats, divided according to the type of property in the brochure. The largest section is of gites of which there are 1,300. There are 600 cotages, and rather fewer villas, chalets and apartments. Most tend to the more old-fashioned rather than modern purpose-built holiday homes. There are limited number of very large properties. Because British-owned, tend to be equipped in British style. Around half do not provide linen.

Facilities

Around a fifth include facilities for children. A handful of owners on neighbouring properties may provide babysitting. Around 50 gites are equipped for families with young children, offering a range of baby equipment including cots and high chairs. There are also some cottages with similar facilities.
